First Day of Our New Adventure ie. Homeschooling

We started school in Mid-August so that we would have a little time to slowly adjust back into the routine of school. It was a great day. Daddy was not home so we gave the kids their new school supplies and uniforms a few days before so he could be home.  The day started out really well. We had layed out the kids clothes so they would be ready in the morning. We all got up and put on our new school shirts (requested by Buggy).  Had a little breakfast and then took pictures!! You can't have the first day of school with out first day of school pictures. After taking them all I realized that I had put the wrong date on the sign! Opps I'm sure that won't be the last goof of our new adventure!! After pictures we settled in to school. We had six subjects to get through (Math, Science, Reading, Spelling, Social Studies and Handwriting). We also did our journal today. Somehow how we got through it all and got to take a trip to the park after Dj's nap was over. We are so excited for our new journey in Homeschooling. We have a lot to learn and are looking forward to learning it together.
